Sometimes a mere glance can prompt action, which instantly tells the recipient the sender’s entire inner monologue. “Temptation” recounts the content of such heated musings and sets them to an appropriate musical canvas.
Musically, the song has absorbed a number of influences, including bands such as Deftones, Tool, Rammstein, as well as some works by contemporary Ukrainian artists. This had a significant impact on the arrangement, which includes heavy guitar riffs, a Justin Chancellor-style bassline, and multi-layered vocal melodies that recreate the inner monologue of the hero (or heroine; the temptation is not too picky).
